Product Manager, Hermes Agent

You will own the Hermes Agent roadmap and turn product direction into a prioritized execution plan. You will define problems, write specifications, coordinate releases, and assess feature outcomes. You will improve onboarding and sustained use, turn community feedback and usage data into decisions, evaluate agent behavior with Engineering and Research, set acceptance criteria, and maintain clear roadmap communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the Hermes Agent roadmap
• Define problems, write specifications, coordinate releases, and evaluate shipped features
• Use Hermes Agent daily to identify product opportunities
• Own the user journey from installation through sustained use
• Turn community feedback, user conversations, issues, and usage data into product decisions
• Define useful experiences for agent tools, reusable skills, and models
• Evaluate agent behavior and set acceptance criteria for completion, reliability, speed, and cost
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, roadmap owners, and status
• Define product-usefulness metrics and use them to prioritize work
• Collaborate with the open-source community and Hermes Enterprise team

Requirements

• Product management experience taking products or substantial features from ambiguous problems through launch and iteration
• Software engineering background
• Hands-on experience building or shipping AI agent products
• Understanding of models, tools, context, and evaluations
• Strong product judgment
• Ability to lead as an individual contributor
• Excellent written communication
• Meaningful working-hours overlap with the US team
