Product Development Analyst Assistant Vice President

You will research market trends and client needs, define requirements for data products, and work with technical teams to design and build analytics tools. You will manage market and vendor data, implement research products, maintain existing products and documentation, support client deliverables, and monitor industry developments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on trends, client needs, and new data-product opportunities
• Develop product requirements, user stories, and specifications
• Collaborate with data engineers and technology teams to design, prototype, and build data products and analytics tools
• Gather user feedback and iterate on solutions
• Integrate and manage market and vendor data while ensuring data quality and reliability
• Implement research data products with the Global Markets Research team
• Maintain existing data products and support client deliverables
• Maintain product-feature, data-model, and user-guideline documentation
• Monitor industry trends, competitive products, and emerging data-intelligence technologies

Requirements

• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and PL/SQL
• Hands-on experience processing, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in finance, data science, business, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in quantitative research, product development, data analytics, or investment-related roles
• Experience with financial market data, including public and private market datasets
