Description
You will design, implement, and maintain backend services that power a feature-rich crypto trading experience. You will write well-tested, readable, and maintainable code, own end-to-end delivery of major features, and operate cloud infrastructure. You will design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries, improve system scalability and reliability, and collaborate on trading system architecture and integrations. You will take full ownership of meaningful projects and drive them from design through production.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs
- Build and maintain robust automated test suites
- Operate and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries
- Own end-to-end delivery of major features and systems
- Ensure code readability, maintainability, and best practices
- Improve system scalability, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate on trading system architecture and integrations
Requirements
- 5-10+ years software engineering experience
- Adhere to strong coding practices focused on readability, maintainability, and testing
- Working knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices, preferably AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience building backend services and APIs, with TypeScript preferred
- High-agency self-starter with ownership mentality
- Bonus: crypto-native experience
