Principal Full Stack Engineer

You will build end-to-end digital features from concept through deployment. You will develop web, mobile, API, and platform solutions; define technical architecture; improve delivery practices; troubleshoot production issues; conduct reviews and testing; and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex web, mobile, API, and platform applications
• Design technical specifications and architecture for complex systems
• Build features from concept through deployment
• Translate business initiatives into software solutions
• Create and maintain application documentation
• Plan full project life cycles across multiple platforms
• Participate in iteration planning and deliver quality work each sprint
• Troubleshoot, tune, support, and maintain APIs
• Resolve technical roadblocks across multiple technologies
• Complete code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
• Coordinate delivery across technical teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Contribute to product-team process improvements

Requirements

• Expertise in architecting and developing multi-tier internet-facing web and mobile applications and APIs
• Experience with Node.js or Java/JEE web applications
• JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and browser developer tools
• Webpack
• DevOps, automated testing, and continuous delivery
• Groovy, Jenkins, and Concourse
• Containerization, Docker, and orchestration
• Angular or React
• NPM and Express
• Cypress or Playwright
• Git and branching strategies
• API design and development
• Microservices architecture

• Promises, observers, and event loops
• Swift or Kotlin for iOS or Android development
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, mathematics, physics, or equivalent
