Occupational Health Nurse

You will conduct mental and physical health consultations, support employees taking or returning from leave, provide post-health-check guidance, and coordinate occupational physician consultations. You will participate in workplace inspections and health and safety committees, prepare committee materials, plan and deliver health programs and training, analyze health data, and improve operational processes. You may need to attend the Yotsuya office in Tokyo when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental and physical health consultations
• Support employees taking or returning from leave
• Provide post-health-check measures and health guidance
• Participate in workplace inspections and health and safety committees
• Prepare health and safety committee presentation materials
• Plan, develop, and deliver health programs and training
• Aggregate and analyze health-related data
• Review and improve operating processes
• Coordinate and support occupational physician consultations

Requirements

• Qualification as an occupational health nurse, certified public psychologist, or clinical psychologist
• At least 1 year of practical experience as an occupational health nurse or counselor at a company
• Practical experience conducting employee mental-health consultations
• Experience conducting consultations in English or English proficiency sufficient to conduct consultations
