Motion Designer

You will design and animate content for product launches, feature announcements, and social channels. You will develop storyboards and style frames, use typography, graphics, and UI animation to explain features, and take projects from concepts through final animation.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate content for product launches, feature announcements, and social channels.
• Develop storyboards and style frames to establish project direction.
• Use typography, graphics, and UI animation to explain product features and workflows.
• Develop ideas with the Creative Director and iterate on feedback.
• Partner with the product team to understand and demonstrate new features.

Requirements

• Provide a portfolio of completed motion-design projects.
• Demonstrate motion-design experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Demonstrate animation fundamentals including timing, pacing, and transitions.
• Demonstrate experience developing concepts and storyboards.
• Demonstrate experience with product or UI animation or creative software launches.
• Demonstrate proficiency in After Effects or equivalent motion-design software.
• Communicate clearly and work through feedback and revisions.
