Mobile Application and Device Management Engineer

You will design, develop, test, and release mobile applications. You will optimize Android and iOS compatibility and performance, manage devices and security policies, investigate device-management capabilities, oversee releases and upgrades, resolve production issues, and support large-scale device deployment and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and release mobile applications
• Optimize multi-device compatibility and performance across Android and iOS
• Handle weak-network conditions, offline caching, data synchronization, and push notifications
• Manage device registration, authentication, binding, and lifecycle processes
• Deploy application, network, and security policies
• Research and implement device-management capabilities
• Manage releases, phased upgrades, crash monitoring, production troubleshooting, and mobile security hardening
• Support bulk device deployment, activation, and field operations for school and overseas projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or a related field
• More than 3 years of mobile development experience
• Proficiency with Android, including Kotlin, Java, Jetpack, and Gradle
• Proficiency with iOS, including Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Xcode
• Experience adapting applications for phones and tablets
• Knowledge of networking, storage, push notifications, permissions, and application release processes
• Knowledge of MDM device-management technologies
• Familiarity with RESTful API, OAuth 2.0, and JWT integrations
• Familiarity with AI programming, CI/CD, crash monitoring, and debugging tools
• Ability to read English technical documentation
• Problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
