Member of Technical Staff Search Engine Developer Search Core

You will design and build search engine components such as indexing pipelines, retrieval algorithms, and ranking systems at massive scale. You will develop streaming and batch processing systems, optimize low-level performance, and solve multithreading, concurrency, and systems optimization challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core search engine components, including indexing pipelines, retrieval algorithms, and ranking systems
• Develop streaming and batch data processing systems for search index construction
• Optimize hardware performance through low-level and systems-level tuning
• Solve multithreading, concurrency, and system-level optimization challenges

Requirements

• 3+ years of systems programming experience
• Experience with Rust, C++, C, or similar languages
• Knowledge of Python or another scripting language
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Understanding of multithreading
• Experience building high-load, distributed, and hardware-adjacent services
• Understanding of Linux internals
• Familiarity with low-level optimization techniques
