Member of Data Staff Analytics Engineer

You will build and maintain data models, marts, pipelines, and warehouse workflows that make analysis reliable and reusable. You will define modeling and governance standards, manage warehouse performance and access controls, automate data quality work, and create AI-readable metadata and semantic context.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, marts, and pipelines
• Manage warehouse architecture, permissions, performance, cost, and data lifecycle
• Create documentation, semantic context, metadata, lineage, and retrieval patterns for AI systems
• Define dbt patterns, dimensional modeling practices, tests, and review processes
• Define data governance standards for access, ownership, retention, quality, and sensitive data
• Build secure and privacy-aware data workflows
• Automate data-quality detection, root-cause analysis, fixes, and tests
• Improve data tooling and development workflows
• Translate analytical needs into durable data systems
• Evaluate tools and manage vendor relationships when needed

Requirements

• 6+ years of analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, or related experience
• Deep SQL expertise
• Production experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework
• Data modeling, dimensional modeling, data contracts, and testing experience
• Production data pipeline ownership experience
• Warehouse administration, permissions, performance tuning, cost management, or operational ownership experience
• Knowledge of data ownership, access controls, privacy, retention, lineage, and auditability
• Experience using AI for development, documentation, QA, exploration, and workflow automation
