Mechatronics and Hardware Test Engineer

You will design and build mechatronic test fixtures, execute and analyze prototype tests, document procedures and results, investigate quality issues, improve testing processes, and support production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and build mechatronic test setups and fixtures
• Validate robot prototypes and subassemblies
• Run tests and analyze results
• Document test procedures and results
• Improve test procedures for efficiency and reliability
• Investigate root causes of product quality issues
• Support production troubleshooting for test-related issues

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Industry experience testing, verifying, and analyzing mechatronic systems
• Experience designing mechanical test benches and fixtures with SolidWorks, 3DEXPERIENCE, or PDM software
• Hands-on mechanical lab experience
• Familiarity with force and torque sensors
• Experience automating test benches or robotic systems with Python or PLC programming
• Familiarity with CAN, SPI, OPC UA, EtherCAT, Linux, Unix, and Bash
• Experience with Jama or SAP
• German language proficiency
• Valid driving license
