Mechanical Construction Manager

You will lead on-site construction for a mission-critical data center. You will manage contractors and site relationships, oversee delivery from pre-construction through commissioning, coordinate field and technical work, manage change orders, track progress, mitigate risks, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior construction representative for the data center
• Manage relationships with contractors, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee project execution from pre-construction through commissioning and controls
• Coordinate vendors and field and technical teams
• Identify and mitigate delivery, safety, and operational risks
• Resolve roadblocks and maintain project timelines
• Align construction schedules with infrastructure goals
• Deliver KPI and dashboard updates
• Verify technical and quality standards
• Perform quantity take-offs and field verifications
• Manage change orders and control costs
• Lead site safety initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale data center or mission-critical construction projects
• Expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations
• Experience managing large programs with multiple vendors and dynamic priorities
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
