Manager Engineering Software Integration

You will lead software integration engineers while contributing directly to system integration, validation, and debugging. You will guide integration frameworks, deployment workflows, and configuration management across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight environments, diagnose defects, and ensure integrated capabilities meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop engineers focused on software integration, system validation, and developer experience
• Establish team priorities and drive execution
• Contribute to system integration, validation, and debugging
• Guide integration-framework, deployment-workflow, and configuration-management implementation
• Streamline validation across SIL, HIL, and flight environments
• Review system logs, telemetry, and rosbag data to diagnose integration defects
• Lead cross-functional investigations and corrective actions
• Create tooling that accelerates debugging and issue resolution
• Ensure integrated capabilities meet product requirements and interface specifications

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 4 years with a PhD
• Python or C++ proficiency
• Experience with autonomous systems or middleware
• Experience designing integration workflows, communicating system dependencies, and triaging integration defects
• Problem-solving and high-quality software-delivery experience
• Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and technical presentations
• Experience leading software integration engineers and owning integration roadmaps and release schedules
