Low-Level Software Engineer LLK

You will design and implement low-level kernels and software primitives for AI hardware. You will own performance optimization work from profiling and bottleneck identification through implementation and validation. You will develop software for efficient model bring-up and execution and improve the quality, performance, and capabilities of the low-level software stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-level kernels and software primitives.
• Own performance optimization efforts from profiling through validation.
• Develop software for efficient model bring-up and execution across hardware.
• Partner with performance, tools, compute, architecture bring-up, hardware, and runtime teams.
• Improve the quality, performance, and capabilities of the low-level software stack.

Requirements

• Strong C/C++ engineering experience building low-level, performance-critical software.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture and software-to-hardware mapping.
• Experience investigating complex performance and systems challenges.
• Ability to make tradeoffs between performance, correctness, and maintainability.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology.
