Junior Data Center Technician

You will build hands-on skills while supporting data-center operations in a shift-based environment. You will install and maintain equipment, replace components, rack and stack systems, install cabling, test links, trace faults, and perform site operations work.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling
• Replace failed hardware components
• Rack and stack servers, switches, and supporting equipment
• Install, route, and label copper and fibre cabling
• Test cable and fibre links and trace faults
• Handle receiving, hardware inventory, and physical site checks

Requirements

• Hands-on technical or operations experience
• Hardware-work aptitude
• Understanding of network links, copper cabling, and fibre cabling
• Methodical fault diagnosis
• Operational discipline and escalation judgement
• Ability to work an on-site shift rotation
• Professional fluency in English
• Fluency in Latvian
