Head of Trade Operations

You will build and lead trade operations, owning execution, booking, confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, liquidity, treasury, and operational controls. You will create scalable operating models and systems, reduce breaks, improve automation and reporting, and partner with functions supporting new products and banking relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop the Trade Operations team
• Build operating, coverage, and capacity models across time zones
• Own trade execution, booking, confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement
• Reduce settlement discrepancies and operational breaks through controls and system improvements
• Create real-time visibility into settlement status and operational breaks
• Manage daily multicurrency liquidity and cash across accounts and banking partners
• Build cash forecasting and rebalancing processes
• Oversee short-term funding, investment, and borrowing activity
• Build operational, market, and currency-risk frameworks
• Ensure activity follows regulations and internal policies
• Own the trade and treasury systems roadmap and automate manual work
• Standardize reporting for leadership, partners, and regulators
• Protect data integrity across trade and treasury systems
• Partner on operational readiness for products, corridors, and currencies

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in trade operations, treasury, or related functions
• Senior leadership experience at large-scale fintechs or major financial institutions
• Record of building and scaling a trade or treasury operations function across geographies
• Technical knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, FX markets, cross-border payments, and multicurrency liquidity and cash management
• People leadership experience
• Judgment on risk, controls, and compliance in regulated multijurisdictional environments
• Strong written communication and executive judgment
