Hardware Deployment Project Manager

You will own hardware readiness for customer deployments, ensuring that schedules, kit lists, parts, shipping, and site prerequisites are complete. You will serve as the hardware liaison during installations and go-lives, manage tier-2 escalations and RMAs, maintain accurate BOMs and configuration records, and document scalable processes. You will coordinate development builds, test assets, technician schedules, purchasing demand plans, and field feedback with engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware readiness for customer deployments, including build schedules, kit lists, parts status, shipping, and site prerequisites
• Lead hardware support during installations and go-lives and hand off to Field Ops
• Triage tier-2 hardware escalations, route issues to technicians or engineers, and close the loop
• Own the RMA process, including intake, disposition, failure-analysis coordination, and trend reporting
• Maintain BOM accuracy and configuration management, including revision control and serial and configuration traceability
• Build and document deployment-readiness, RMA, and configuration-control processes
• Plan development builds and test assets with engineering and technicians
• Coordinate development builds, test assets, and technician schedules
• Provide Purchasing with demand plans and flag long-lead and single-source risks

Requirements

• Experience owning hardware readiness for deployments, production launches, or NPI builds end to end
• Experience managing BOMs and revisions, configurations and change control, or RMA processes
• Ability to read assembly and part drawings, electrical schematics, critical-to-quality callouts, and harness pinouts
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting ability
• Ability to manage field escalations from initial report through resolution
