Global Research Program Manager

Description
You will coordinate operations across research, data science, and science functions. You will manage external scientific and sequencing partnerships, track deliverables and publication plans, improve workflows, and oversee tools that support production and R&D teams. You will keep teams aligned on training-data delivery and model-release timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships and joint projects with external technical and scientific partners
- Coordinate sequencing-provider operations, sample send-offs, timelines, and pipeline visibility
- Identify and resolve provider quality or capacity issues
- Track collaboration publications, leadership, writing capacity, and submission timelines
- Ensure contractual commitments for data return, capacity building, and sampling are met
- Coordinate rollout of R&D protocols to partner labs and track expected data delivery
- Plan and execute cross-functional data-generation initiatives
- Align work across Global Research, Data Science, Science, and the Founding TPM
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement efficient processes or tools
- Document and share learnings, best practices, and project updates
- Oversee selection, implementation, and optimization of project, lab, and data-management tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of programme or project management experience in a scientific, research, or biotech organization
- Experience coordinating complex multi-workstream programs with multiple stakeholders
- Experience holding scientists, field teams, and partners accountable to timelines and deliverables
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing external vendors or partners, including services and SLAs
- Scientific literacy in genomics, sequencing workflows, and data pipelines
- Ability to work independently in ambiguity and rapid change
