Full Stack Engineer Elixir Backend Focus

You will design, build and operate Elixir services, partner-facing APIs, background jobs and React dashboard features. You will work on ledger, settlement and reconciliation systems, use AI coding agents while reviewing their output, document technical decisions, review code, and collaborate on AWS deployment, monitoring and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Elixir services using Phoenix, Ecto and OTP
• Build and evolve partner-facing REST APIs, webhooks and delivery guarantees
• Develop money-adjacent ledger, balance, settlement and reconciliation systems
• Own React and TypeScript dashboard features end to end
• Use and review output from AI coding agents
• Review code and validate system correctness
• Write pull request descriptions, architecture notes and documentation
• Collaborate on AWS deployment, monitoring and security

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 4+ years of backend experience
• 3+ years of production Elixir, Phoenix, Ecto and OTP experience
• PostgreSQL and SQL expertise
• REST API design and background job processing experience
• Experience in loyalty, travel technology, payments or FinTech
• React and TypeScript experience
• AWS, Docker and GitHub Actions knowledge
• Fluent English
• Daily use of AI coding tools
