Financial Reporting Manager

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. You will research and document technical accounting positions, oversee lease, revenue, equity, partnership, and infrastructure accounting, develop policies and controls, prepare audit support, and improve reporting workflows through systems, SQL, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Own technical accounting research, conclusions, and memo documentation
• Own lease accounting under ASC 842
• Evaluate infrastructure and compute-related spending
• Own accounting for strategic partnership, reseller, and marketplace arrangements
• Own revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Own equity and share-based payments accounting
• Build process flowcharts, narratives, and control matrices
• Support SOX-ready control design and implementation
• Monitor accounting pronouncements and lead adoption planning
• Serve as a contact for external auditors
• Develop accounting policies
• Improve reporting and documentation workflows

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 718
• Experience analyzing non-standard commercial arrangements
• Ability to write technical accounting memos
• Experience preparing financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Experience supporting external audits
• Experience with ERP systems and large datasets
• Cross-functional communication skills
