Financial Reporting and Control Manager

You will own group reporting and the monthly close across legal entities in Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. You will manage consolidation in Workday, review automated outputs, prepare executive and board reporting, support statutory audits, account for digital-asset activity, prepare regulatory returns, coordinate tax compliance, and improve finance procedures and reporting automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly group close, including the close calendar, review gates, and entity-result sign-off.
• Run group consolidation in Workday, including intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
• Produce monthly Executive Committee reporting and quarterly board reporting.
• Review material legal-entity closes and manage intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
• Deliver statutory audits by preparing schedules and workpapers, managing auditor requests, and challenging incorrect adjustments.
• Account for digital assets, staking and validator income, stablecoin activity, and trading results.
• Prepare regulatory financial returns for VARA and MAS sign-off.
• Coordinate tax compliance with local advisors across jurisdictions.
• Maintain finance procedures and the finance knowledge base.
• Extend close and reporting automation with the finance operations team.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
• Three to five years of experience, ideally including Big Four or mid-tier audit experience.
• Experience with group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency reporting.
• Experience with a modern ERP; Workday experience is preferred.
• Technical accounting knowledge under IFRS or HKFRS.
• Ability to work with AI tools and automated workflows.
• Ability to review financial results, challenge auditors, and explain results to senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken English.
