Finance & Treasury Lead

You will lead global finance and treasury operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions. You will own financial control, accounting, reporting, treasury, payroll, billing, payments, compliance, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements. You will manage the finance team, maintain controls and accounting systems, coordinate with external providers and regulators, oversee reconciliations and close processes, and provide analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide finance support to management, counterparties, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain financial governance, reporting standards, risk awareness, and confidentiality.
• Work with Legal, Operations, Trading, and management to support new products, jurisdictions, entities, and initiatives.
• Maintain and develop accounting systems, including SoftLedger, finance processes, controls, reviews, and automation.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, regulators, banks, payroll providers, consultants, accountants, and other finance providers.
• Research, document, and resolve technical accounting matters.
• Coordinate external and statutory audits and manage auditor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, tax, and statutory obligations, including Swiss and UK requirements.
• Oversee global payroll, billing, supplier payments, employee expenses, and related finance operations.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and liquidity across jurisdictions, entities, banks, and currencies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reporting, and internal performance dashboards.
• Manage the Treasury system and ensure daily reconciliation of desk positions.
• Develop forecasts, analyse variances, and provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure accurate capture of revenue sources in the ledger.
• Maintain general accounting records, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and investments.
• Own month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, account analysis, and reconciliations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team.

Requirements

• Recognized accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of finance experience, preferably in trading or financial services.
• Experience working in international and regulatory environments.
• Understanding of cross-border payroll, global payments, and multi-entity structures.
• Leadership experience managing teams and external vendors.
• Interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Residence in the United Kingdom.
• Pre-existing right to work in the United Kingdom without company sponsorship.
