Finance Controller

You will prepare financial statements, management accounts, and audit packs. You will oversee general-ledger close processes, journals, reconciliations, tax returns, compliance, and auditor coordination. You will track KPIs, forecast revenue and costs, support cash-flow control, and liaise with finance, business, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and audit packs
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Compute statutory taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with local tax laws and IFRS
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide documentation
• Track financial performance against KPIs, forecast revenue and costs, and support cash-flow control
• Liaise between Finance, the business, and clients

Requirements

• CA(SA) or equivalent
• At least 5 years of management experience in an asset-management finance role
• Financial reporting and management accounting experience
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Knowledge of VAT, Income Tax, IFRS, and financial compliance
• ERP system experience; D365 is highly advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Must meet the BEE requirement for South African client BEE certification
