Environmental Services and Facilities Cleaner

You will clean and maintain offices, technical spaces, and common areas. You will manage waste and recycling, use supplies safely, report hazards and maintenance issues, stock consumables, operate cleaning equipment, inspect assigned areas, and follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, meeting rooms, break areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and common spaces
• Maintain hygienic and presentable facility areas
• Empty waste and recycling containers and segregate waste
• Support waste handling, recycling, sustainability, and environmental compliance
• Use, store, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and supplies safely
• Follow health and safety requirements and use PPE
• Identify and report hazards, spills, damage, and maintenance issues
• Stock consumables and support site events and meetings
• Inspect assigned areas and report requirements
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Monitor cleaning-supply inventory and request replenishment
• Participate in site inductions and safety training

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial services, environmental services, housekeeping, or facility support
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
• Ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Fluency in Norwegian preferred
• Basic English communication skills desirable
