Engineering Manager Inference

You will lead a new team evolving inference APIs and delivering enterprise features. You will translate product vision into technical solutions, ensure application reliability and performance, uphold code quality, own software delivery from design through deployment, plan projects, partner with stakeholders, and support hiring, onboarding, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Remove obstacles so the team can build solutions
• Translate product vision into technical solutions
• Ensure applications are performant, stable, and responsive
• Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, and automation
• Own software development from design through deployment
• Plan roadmaps, deadlines, and task allocation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design stakeholders
• Support team growth through hiring, onboarding, and mentorship

Requirements

• Experience building and managing engineering teams
• Proficiency in Python and a web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Proficiency in C#, Golang, and TypeScript and a web framework
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience working with Product, Design, and Business teams
• Knowledge of databases, caching mechanisms, and messaging systems
• Problem-solving abilities
• Ability to ship products end-to-end
• Communication skills
