Engineering Manager Compliance Core

You will set technical direction for a compliance platform while remaining hands-on with code, designs, prototypes, and production incidents. You will hire and develop engineers, plan delivery with product partners, and improve reliability, observability, testing, incident response, and on-call practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform modernization and architectural decisions
• Plan incremental migrations, milestones, and safe rollouts
• Review code and design documents
• Contribute prototypes and targeted production fixes
• Hire, coach, manage, and develop engineers
• Partner with Product and upstream teams on the roadmap
• Make priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs explicit
• Set standards for reliability, latency, throughput, and data correctness
• Improve observability, testing, incident response, and on-call practices

Requirements

• Experience building and operating high-throughput event-driven distributed systems
• Hands-on engineering judgment
• Engineering management, coaching, performance management, and career development experience
• Experience delivering complex cross-team technical initiatives
• Collaborative technical leadership
• Interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies or eagerness to learn
