Engineering Manager, Cloud

You will establish clear team structure, ownership, planning, and coordination practices. You will lead people management, feedback, career development, hiring, and onboarding. You will coordinate delivery and dependencies, make risks visible, agree priorities with product and technical leadership, and improve recurring delivery and coordination problems.

Responsibilities

• Establish team structure, ownership, and ways of working
• Build planning and coordination practices that support delivery
• Remove administrative and organizational work that distracts engineers
• Lead expectations, feedback, one-to-ones, career development, hiring, and onboarding
• Coordinate delivery and dependencies while keeping priorities, commitments, and risks visible
• Agree priorities with Product and the Tech Lead
• Improve recurring delivery and coordination problems

Requirements

• Experience in hands-on software development with Go or JavaScript
• Experience managing engineers through expectations, feedback, development, and performance management
• Experience building or improving team operating systems
• Delivery management skills
• Technical ability to understand engineering work and challenge assumptions
• Experience hiring and onboarding engineers
• Experience collaborating with product and technical leadership
