Engineering Manager Card Solutions Global Expansion

You will lead engineering delivery for card-program expansion into new markets. You will translate regulatory requirements into technical work, coordinate dependencies across functions, establish launch and operational practices, guide technical design, and ensure reusable improvements strengthen the core card platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery for card-program launches in new markets
• Own compliance engineering workstreams and integrate local vendors, issuer processors, and BIN sponsor systems
• Translate regulatory requirements into scoped engineering deliverables
• Coordinate cross-team delivery plans, timelines, dependencies, and launch milestones
• Establish on-call runbooks, incident response playbooks, and SLAs for live markets
• Own post-launch monitoring, alerting, incident management, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to core card platform improvements using extensible and reusable solutions
• Guide engineering strategy and technical design

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
• Experience building and operating payments, risk or fraud systems, card infrastructure, financial reconciliation, or API platforms
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives and architectural decisions
• Ability to design fault-tolerant, observable, and scalable services
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, or AWS
