Engineering Director AI Engineering

You will define and execute research strategy across post-training, model evaluation, search and retrieval, and continuous learning. You will manage research partnerships, produce technical content, and hire and lead AI engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Manage research partnerships
• Produce high-quality technical content that shares research outcomes externally
• Hire and manage AI engineers and researchers

Requirements

• 5+ years leading applied research, AI engineering, or ML engineering teams
• Deep expertise in modern AI technology and classical ML systems
• Knowledge of LLMs, transformer models, agentic workflows, context management, and agentic evaluation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to attract and retain AI talent
