Electrical Engineer Test Equipment Design

You will design and own test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems from concept through validation. You will develop PCBs, fixtures, and automated Python test sequences; integrate power, RF, communications, and mechanical systems; and advocate for improvements that make hardware easier to test.

Responsibilities

• Design and own test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems
• Work across power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration
• Develop PCBs for test stand and device-under-test interfaces
• Build automated test fixtures using relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing
• Automate test sequences using Python
• Participate in design reviews and advocate for testability improvements
• Adapt and innovate in a fast-moving engineering environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, equivalent hands-on experience, or expected graduation in 2026
• Foundation in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles
• Experience in multidisciplinary hardware projects
• Track record of ownership, innovation, and delivering results in complex technical environments
