Director of Public Relations & Communications

You will own the public relations function from strategy through execution and measurement. You will develop proactive media strategies, write press materials and executive messaging, manage crisis communications, build media relationships, prepare executives for engagements, and align messaging with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Product.

Responsibilities

• Own the PR function across strategy, execution, and measurement
• Build and execute proactive media strategies
• Write press releases, media statements, byline articles, executive talking points, and messaging frameworks
• Manage rapid-response and crisis communications
• Leverage media relationships to secure earned coverage
• Prepare and accompany executives for interviews, panels, and press engagements
• Coordinate messaging with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Product
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives
• Monitor media and regulatory developments and advise leadership on positioning and risk

Requirements

• 7+ years of PR or communications experience
• Meaningful experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services
• Established relationships with crypto, fintech, and mainstream financial media
• Strong writing skills
• Knowledge of the crypto and fintech regulatory environment
