Director of Events and Experiences

You will own the global events program across hosted, speaking, and sponsored events. You will set strategy and calendars, manage budgets and vendors, produce events, lead the speaking and sponsorship programs, partner with Sales and Brand, build scalable operating systems, and measure event outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, budgets, production, and results for hosted, speaking, and sponsored events
• Set the events calendar and determine participation priorities
• Produce launches, dinners, summits, and roadshows
• Lead the executive speaking program
• Negotiate and manage sponsorships
• Run field events with Sales
• Partner with Brand and Creative on event experiences
• Lead the events team
• Build event playbooks, intake processes, vendor relationships, and budgets
• Measure attendance, coverage, pipeline, signups, and event performance
• Attend important events on site

Requirements

• 12+ years producing events, including large hosted events, sponsorships, and field programs
• Experience building or leading an events team
• Experience owning large budgets, agency relationships, and vendor contracts
• Experience negotiating sponsorships
• Experience running an executive speaking program
• Knowledge of event production, including staging, AV, registration, staffing, security, and permits
• Experience with event attribution, brand-sentiment tracking, and reporting
• Ability to partner with Sales, Product, Communications, Brand, Finance, Legal, and executives
• Power-user experience with AI tools
• Based in San Francisco or New York and willing to travel internationally
