Director Head of Execution

You will lead the development of low-latency, high-throughput algorithmic trading and smart order routing systems. You will implement routing algorithms, integrate trading systems, optimize production performance, mentor developers, set code-quality standards, and improve resilience and failover capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead development of a low-latency, high-throughput algorithmic trading and smart order router system
• Implement routing algorithms based on execution quality, liquidity, latency, and cost
• Collaborate with traders and product managers to refine routing logic and build algorithmic capabilities
• Integrate the smart order router with trading, booking, and reporting systems
• Monitor and optimize performance under production trading conditions
• Mentor junior developers and enforce code-quality standards
• Support production trading issues and improve resilience and failover mechanisms

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing routing strategies for specific markets
• Knowledge of tick-data analytics and real-time market-data processing
• Experience in high-frequency or algorithmic trading environments
• Experience building low-latency systems and working with multicast and unicast market-data feeds
• Understanding of electronic and algorithmic trading application stacks and infrastructure
• Proficiency in FIX protocol and trading-system architecture, including OMS, EMS, and market gateways
• Knowledge of concurrency, networking, and memory management
• Experience with Linux systems and performance-profiling tools
