Development & Test Engineer - Heat Pumps (f/m/div.)
Description
Your contribution to something big:
As our Development & Test Engineer, you will join our fast-growing, cross-functional product development team in Aveiro. You will be responsible for ensuring performance in our residential heat pumps, driving product development through virtual testing, system-level validation, and physical data correlation:
- Specify, develop, and execute virtual and system-level tests for residential heat pump systems.
- Develop and apply advanced MATLAB/Simulink-based models and virtual testing environments to simulate physical behaviors.
- Analyze product, customer, and safety requirements to translate them into robust, structured validation strategies and technical test cases.
- Design and run system validation plans, correlating virtual simulation results with real-world physical test bench data.
- Coordinate key product market-introduction activities, supporting product certification, physical verification, and technical documentation.
- Support production ramp-up activities and collaborate closely with manufacturing plants to ensure test methods align with assembly constraints.
- Apply product-engineering and quality methodologies (such as FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM) to drive continuous quality and optimization in our product portfolio.
What distinguishes you:
Education
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Automation, or a closely related technical discipline.
