Description

You will own availability and RAM models for generation campuses across power and mechanical systems. You will lead FMEA/FMECA work, curate reliability data, identify common-mode risks, and translate analysis into design requirements. You will build the reliability core of a digital twin, support commissioning and root-cause analysis, direct consultants, and communicate availability risks and results to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain system-level RAM and availability models for generation campuses.
  • Allocate SLA targets into subsystem availability budgets, redundancy, maintenance, and sparing strategies.
  • Identify common-mode and dependent failures across fuel, cooling, controls, and site-wide systems.
  • Lead FMEA/FMECA programs for major generation, storage, electrical, fuel, and cooling equipment.
  • Curate failure-rate and repair data for reliability models.
  • Integrate reliability analysis into design reviews, HAZOPs, and vendor evaluations.
  • Define digital-twin reliability architecture and operational data requirements.
  • Support commissioning, startup reliability runs, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Direct RAM and reliability consultants and grow internal reliability capability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of reliability engineering experience on power generation, process, or mission-critical facilities.
  • RAM modeling experience for large redundant systems.
  • FMEA/FMECA leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of IEEE 493, OREDA, IEEE 3006 series, or similar failure-data sources.
  • Experience allocating availability targets from commercial commitments to systems.
  • Python or similar scripting capability.
  • Experience influencing live design processes on major capital projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites and vendor facilities.

Benefits
