Datacenter IT Technician

You will work on-site in Paris-region datacenters to assemble, rack, cable, configure, diagnose, and repair IT hardware. You will test fiber and copper cabling, supervise suppliers and subcontractors, manage service tickets and assets, and safeguard hardware and site access.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rack, cable, and configure servers and hardware
• Diagnose hardware issues and replace components
• Test fiber and copper cabling using optical tracers and reflectometers
• Escort and supervise external subcontractors and suppliers
• Log and update tickets, asset records, and maintenance documentation
• Monitor hardware handling and site access
• Raise alerts about operational issues

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on IT hardware maintenance, hardware support, or datacenter technician experience
• Expertise in hardware troubleshooting, assembly, diagnostics, and cabling
• Experience testing copper and optical fiber with reflectometers and optical tracers
• Comfort using Jira Service Management, Odoo, and Google Sheets
• Active B-category driver's license
