Data Scientist APAC

You will build and maintain customer lifetime value, churn and conversion models, apply machine-learning techniques to customer data, and develop sentiment-analysis capabilities. You will translate business questions into analytical solutions, present recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, and manage the full data-science lifecycle from data extraction through deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer lifetime value models
• Design churn and conversion prediction models
• Apply clustering and classification techniques to segment customers
• Develop sentiment analysis capabilities from customer feedback
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Own the data science lifecycle from problem framing through model deployment and monitoring
• Share data science best practices with the wider data function

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science or economics
• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or in a similar analytical role
• Python or R
• SQL
• Experience building predictive models for LTV, churn or conversion propensity
• Machine learning techniques including clustering and classification
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP, AWS or Snowflake
• Stakeholder management
• Experience working across multiple markets or regions
