Data Center Hardware Engineer

You will work hands-on with server racks and cluster hardware. You will diagnose and repair components, follow safety procedures, document work in tickets, manage parts and RMAs, contribute to monitoring and operating procedures, and participate in rotating on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair server and cluster hardware
• Troubleshoot Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnect issues
• Follow power-off, lockout, ESD, and safety procedures
• Document photos, serial numbers, test results, and ticket updates
• Receive, label, and track inventory
• Run RMAs and coordinate with vendors
• Contribute recurring issues to monitoring, alerts, and operating procedures
• Provide clear status updates and handovers
• Participate in rotating on-call emergency response

Requirements

• Hands-on data center or server hardware experience
• Practical electrical safety knowledge
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Ability to work physically in server racks
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call operation
• Driver's licence B
