Compliance Quality Assurance Consultant

You will test the operational and design effectiveness of financial crime compliance controls. You will plan QA reviews, select samples using approved methodology, present findings to stakeholders, track issue remediation, and maintain complete documentation and records for internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Test the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of financial crime compliance controls
• Review standard operating procedures against policy requirements
• Plan QA reviews and select samples using approved methodology
• Present observations to senior stakeholders
• Ensure issues are remediated promptly
• Maintain audit-ready QA and compliance documentation

Requirements

• At least 3 years of financial crime, compliance, audit, or QA experience
• Experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, KYC/EDD, and suspicious activity reporting
• Stakeholder management and regulatory engagement experience
• Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using AI to automate manual processes in a controlled environment
• Familiarity with AML transaction monitoring, CDD, and screening systems
• Experience managing regulatory examinations and remediation programmes
