Compliance KYC Manager

You will lead customer onboarding and ongoing due-diligence operations, overseeing queues, quality, priorities, capacity, and turnaround times. You will review complex cases, resolve escalations, coach the KYC team, and maintain policies and procedures. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams to improve KYC tools and workflows, remediate control gaps, support audits, manage vendors, and report performance and risks to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead KYC operations for customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence
• Manage queues, priorities, quality, turnaround times, and capacity
• Review complex cases and resolve escalations using risk-based judgment
• Manage, coach, train, and provide performance feedback to the KYC team
• Maintain KYC policies, procedures, and operational guidance
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams to improve KYC processes
• Build relationships with enterprise partners, customers, and their Compliance teams
• Identify control gaps and lead remediation activities
• Participate in audits and regulatory examinations
• Manage KYC vendor relationships
• Improve KYC tooling and workflows, including user acceptance testing and adoption
• Develop and report operational metrics and emerging risks to senior management
• Support occasional weekend duty as business needs require

Requirements

• Knowledge of US KYC requirements
• Knowledge of customer identification, beneficial ownership, CDD, EDD, customer risk rating, and ongoing due diligence
• Experience leading KYC operations
• Experience reviewing complex cases and resolving escalations
• Team management, coaching, and capacity planning
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams
• Experience maintaining policies, procedures, and operational documentation
• Experience remediating control gaps and audit or regulatory findings
• Operational metrics and senior-management reporting
• Written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools
• Knowledge of data protection and output verification
