Commercial Manager Senior Commercial Manager

You will manage commercial and contractual aspects of hyperscale data-centre projects across the UK and Europe. You will oversee procurement, budgets, CAPEX models, cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow, contract administration, commercial change, risk management, and financial close-out from pre-contract through final account.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of hyperscale data-centre construction projects
• Drive cost efficiency and value creation
• Manage project budgets and CAPEX models
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash-flow analyses
• Conduct budget preparation, benchmarking, and cost modelling
• Present cost analysis and recommendations to senior management
• Manage project costs, variations, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives
• Oversee financial close-out and final commercial documentation
• Manage commercial change evaluation, negotiation, and approval
• Lead commercial risk management and maintain risk registers
• Collaborate with Development, Construction, Finance, and Operations
• Apply regional market, cost-index, and regulatory insights

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in forecasting, cash-flow management, cost control, and profitability across complex construction projects or portfolios
• Data-centre experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
• Proven record of delivering profitable projects and optimising commercial performance
• Fluency in English
• MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous
