Commercial Legal Counsel

You will lead the commercial deal desk and manage the full contracting lifecycle for global customer relationships. You will create contractual frameworks and partnership templates, build contract-management processes, and use AI workflows to accelerate contract review and negotiation. You will advise on deal structure, commercial terms, service levels, liability, indemnity, settlement, funds flow, and regulatory requirements in customer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full commercial contracting lifecycle for global customer relationships
• Build and maintain commercial legal playbooks, templates, fallback positions, approval thresholds, and escalation paths
• Create AI-enabled systems and processes for contract review, issue lists, clause comparison, and reusable legal workflows
• Advise on deal structure, pricing and fee terms, service levels, liability, indemnity, settlement, and funds-flow mechanics
• Partner with regulatory legal, compliance, and product stakeholders on regulatory contract terms and customer documentation
• Serve as lead counsel for the global go-to-market function

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience in commercial legal roles and fintech, payments, or financial services
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for cross-border payments and digital assets, including money transmission, e-money, MiCA, and stablecoin issuance and payments
• Analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Cross-functional collaboration skills
• J.D. or equivalent
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
