Business Development Strategist

Collaborate with leadership on business development strategy, source and support customers, communicate Lightning's business value, write thought leadership content, support funnel growth, and build community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership on business development strategy
• Identify target companies and tailor value propositions
• Communicate how global financial market shifts affect Lightning Network and stablecoin adoption
• Source potential customers across Lightning, bitcoin, and non-bitcoin companies
• Support existing customers with technical questions and feature requests
• Connect customers with ecosystem participants
• Write thought pieces about the Lightning Network and its products
• Support blog posts, press releases, social engagement, and community events
• Build awareness and engagement across Slack, Telegram, Twitter, and other platforms

Requirements

• Passion for bitcoin, Lightning, and financial freedom
• At least 3-5 years of experience in business development, strategy, finance, or a related role
• Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Creative, autonomous, adaptable, and collaborative across time zones
• Strong outreach and audience development skills
• Ability to build relationships with entrepreneurs and developers in emerging markets
• Familiarity with the Lightning community and technical understanding of bitcoin and Lightning
