Backend Engineer Agent Collaboration Platform

You will turn complex requirements into robust backend systems, build and improve high-scale document-indexing capabilities, and optimize performance across millions of documents. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship while designing efficient data communication and distributed-system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own critical system components
• Build and iterate on high-scale document-indexing systems
• Architect and implement performance-tuning solutions
• Minimize latency and maximize throughput
• Mentor and guide junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software-development experience
• Proficiency building backend and API systems with Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, or Redis
• Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate technical concepts
• Experience leading software-development projects
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Rapid prototyping with user feedback
• Experience taking ownership of major initiatives
