Analyst Security Operations - Delaware

You will monitor and correlate security logs and alerts, investigate harmful activity, prioritize and escalate security events, support remediation, document incidents, and improve cyber-monitoring policies and procedures. You will maintain awareness of emerging threats and attack techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and correlate security logs and alerts to identify harmful activity.
• Investigate, prioritize, escalate, and support remediation of security events.
• Use security technologies and data sources to assess potential incidents.
• Produce incident documentation and follow-up records.
• Create and improve cyber-monitoring policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Maintain awareness of cybersecurity trends, threats, and attack techniques.

Requirements

• Experience in IT, information security, technical support, or security operations
• Cloud-security knowledge for Azure, AWS, or GCP
• IaaS security knowledge
• Experience monitoring, investigating, documenting, and reporting security events
• Endpoint and network security knowledge
• Knowledge of security tools and incident-management platforms such as ServiceNow
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Technical, interpersonal, and organizational judgment
