AI Software Engineer

You will build data labelling, processing, versioning, and training-data pipelines for multimodal clinical data. You will create an automated evaluation harness for vision-language and NLP models. You will also design a clinical knowledge database, map medical terminologies, extract entities from clinical documents, and work with clinicians on safe, practical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design data-labelling schemas, guidelines, tooling, and quality checks
• Build reproducible pipelines to ingest, clean, de-identify, and transform multimodal data
• Structure, version, and catalogue video datasets
• Prepare documented training, validation, and test datasets
• Build an automated evaluation harness for vision-language and NLP models
• Design the clinical knowledge-base schema and data store
• Ingest and map TC3, SNOMED CT, ICD-10, and NHS standards
• Extract entities and relationships from clinical text
• Parse clinical documents into the database
• Work with clinicians to reflect clinical reasoning and pre-hospital workflows

Requirements

• Python and data engineering experience
• Experience shipping production data or machine-learning pipelines
• Experience building machine-learning evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, or test harnesses
• Experience with data labelling, annotation tooling, and quality control
• Database and data-modelling knowledge
• NLP experience with entity extraction, entity linking, or document parsing
• Experience handling sensitive data under data-protection and clinical-safety constraints
